Field Notes from a Finnish Winter
The studio’s first winter in Finland, in three observations.
One. Darkness is a schedule. When the sun sets at three, the working day reorganizes itself around lamplight and coffee, and the games we make start absorbing that palette — bone-cream against long blue dark.
Two. Small teams keep warm by staying close. Three people, one table, one game. Every decision travels the full length of the studio in about four seconds.
Three. The quiet here is not empty. It is the same quiet we are trying to build into Bone Fides — the kind that makes you lean in and listen for what the evidence is not saying.
More field notes as the seasons turn.
